ALIPH Evening Information

ALIPH Evening Program ONLINE

This program is designed for students with little or no knowledge of classical Arabic, to provide them with a foundation for reading, speaking, and understanding. Classes are held during evening hours, Eastern Time U.S.

Courses include:

  1. Qira’ah (Reading)
  2. Sarf (Morphology)
  3. Ta^bir (Expression)
  4. Al-Ajurrumiyyah (Basics of Grammar)

This program is available for:

  1. Online learners
  2. Beginners
  3. Intermediate students
  4. Speakers of non-classical Arabic
  5. Students who can commit 1-2 hours per day (avg. per course) to attend class and study
  6. Students who can only attend during evening hours, Eastern Time U.S.

Course details:

  1. School terms are 10 weeks in length and held in the Fall, Winter, and Spring (check for Summer availability)
    Spring Session 2024:
    Now accepting applications (see link below)
    Course Enrollment opening mid-February (see link below)
    Classes held March 4 – May 14
  2. Students may enroll in any term throughout the year
  3. Classes meet for 1.5 hours twice per week (Mon/Wed and Tues/Thurs)
  4. Class times: 5:00 – 6:30 pm Eastern US and 6:30 – 8:00 pm Eastern US
